In the wake of Adorni (World Championships ’68)
Itinerary following Vittorio Adorni's great feat at the 1968 World Cycling Championships. In a legendary spurt, the champion reached the finishing-post almost 10 minutes ahead of the second placed.
The route also passes through places of historical and naturalistic interest, such as the Fortresses of Imola and Dozza, Alidosi Palace and Bridge at Castel del Rio and the Vena del gesso [chalk vein].
